Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips.
  2. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
  3. Slice the red chili and chop the green onions for garnish.

Cooking

  1. Heat a wok over high heat and add a splash of oil.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry until they are golden brown, about 5 mins.
  3. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced chili, and stir-fry for another 2 mins until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat the chicken evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 3 mins until the sauce thickens slightly.

Plating & Serving

  1. Transfer the stir-fried chicken to a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  2. Serve immediately with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.

Notes

Adjust the amount of chili to your preferred spice level. For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
