- 1 1/2 lbs (750 g) chicken wings, drumettes and middle sections
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 dashes ground black pepper
- white sesame
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar

- Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
- Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Transfer them to a large bowl and toss with the oil, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Line a baking tray with aluminum foil, then place a baking rack on top.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
- Bake, rotating the pan halfway through, until the wings are fully cooked and crispy, about 45 to 50 minutes.
- Be sure to check on them periodically.
- Mix all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce in a saucepan.
- Heat the mixture until it thickens and begins to bubble slightly.
- Turn off the heat and set aside.
- When the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and add it to the sweet and sour sauce.
- Toss a few times to coat well.
- Top the chicken wings with white sesame seeds and serve immediately.
