Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups unsalted mixed nuts (used here are almonds, walnuts, cashew and pistachio)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp salt

- In a bowl, mix together the sugars, paprika, cumin powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Set aside.
- In a heavy skillet, melt butter and cook the nuts for about 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Sprinkle the sugar and spice mixture over the nuts and continue cooking for about 8-10 minutes until the sugar caramelizes.
- Stir constantly to prevent burning.
- Once done, transfer the nuts to a large cookie sheet or platter to cool, then serve.
